Axel Ericson, founder of Digital Arts, brings 25 years of experience to the New York Film and Television community. As an artist and engineer, Axel has served in a variety of roles – composer, sound designer, mixer, producer, colorist, finishing artist and technology pioneer. He has received numerous awards – MTV, Grammy nominee, Emmy, Promomax/ BDA, and a Monitor Award. This unique foundation combined with Axel’s unrelenting curiosity and willingness to reinvent himself is at the heart of his deep understanding of post production and of his vision for Digital Arts. In an industry which is changing at an exponential rate, Axel’s vision of the industry’s possibilities keeps him engaged, while bringing a unique creative sensibility to each project.
Chris Foster’s interest in sound design began when he picked up a 4-track cassette recorder as a teenager, and has developed into a passion for all aspects of post production audio. With over 10 years of experience, Chris has sound designed, edited, and mixed a number of award-winning television series, feature films, documentaries and animated series, including 30 Rock, Damages, The Americans, National Geographic Documentaries, God is the bigger Elvis, The American Experience as well as Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, and Sesame Street. His skill set runs the gamut from re-recording and mixing to dialogue editing, sound effects, foley, and adr recording and editing. Most recently, he was the supervising sound editor and re-recording mixer for the critically acclaimed narrative feature, Hide Your Smiling Faces, which has had a successful festival run at the Berlin International Film Festival, Tribeca Film Festival, and others.
As a master ADR/Narration recordist, he has worked with some of the world’s biggest talent. His ADR credits include The Lego Movie, Taken 2, Captain Phillips and Lord of the Rings. He has recorded narration VO for a wide variety of features, series, video games and documentaries (Inside Out, How to train your Dragoon, Frozen 2). He has mixed ad agency spots, and promos for clients such as: CBS, NBC, TBS, History, Comedy Central and Nickelodeon.

David is an award-winning editor and director. He has directed and edited films, music videos, fashion films and several web series including Stream, a sci-fi Web series starring Whoopi Goldberg. He also directed an online rockumentary starring R&B sensation Ne-Yo for Coca Cola. As an editor, he has hundreds of projects to his credit, including narrative and documentary films, TV shows, commercials, music videos, fashion videos, documentaries and corporate pieces. He recently completed editing a high-profile investigative journalism film, which will be released by Epix HD and LionsGate. Other feature film editing credits include When Nietzsche Wept, starring Armand Assante, and many action pictures with Millennium Films. He has edited prime time televised live concerts for artists like Soundgarden, Norah Jones, Adele, Tori Amos, Robert Plant, Ringo Starr, Elvis Costello and many others. He has also edited The History Channel’s Emmy Award winning show World War II In HD and Vietnam in HD and The WB’s action-packed, Emmy Award-winning children’s show Kamen Rider Dragon Knight. As a director, his first feature film, The Forest Is Red, won several awards at international film festivals
